Levitation Chess Set
Of course we could not design a set that will truly levitate above your table… However, we have constructed probably the next best thing. The base of this set is comprised of hundreds of slices of Baltic birch, carved and glued to seemingly fold over onto itself. The playing surface, supported only on one side, is end grain maple and padauk hardwoods. The dramatic nature of this design cannot be overstated. This design speaks to the “magic of chess.”
